auto update restart

Hi all

My acer auto updated Windows 8 then restarted. It is now in a permanent state of restarting and won't progress even after power down. Longest I have left it is an hour. Can anyone help?

What computer model do you have?

Have you attempted to start in Safe Mode?

What have you done to attempt to resolve the issue?
