Hi all joined the forum hoping to get some advice.
Im new to acer products ive just purchased a Revo lr80 which im trying to get my revo remote working.
Ive tried all sorts but no luck.

The Revo RL80 uses an IR remote, so be sure that you have a direct line of sight to the computer.
If you are having difficulty, be sure that there are fresh batteries in the remote.
Other than that, we will need some additional information about what is occuring.

We only ship the Revo RL80 with Windows 8. We do not support Windows 7 on the system.

Please use the recovery instructions I've included above to be sure that all of the proper hardware drivers are installed on the system. Please check in Device Manager to be sure that no hardware has a ! or X.
It could also be possible that you have a problem with the remote. If the above does not resolve the issue, please contact your local Acer service center for assistance with the remote.

Hi i have fresh install windows 8 all driver are working i dont have any crosses or any exclamation mark.

Hi all its been a while
Just a update Acer have been very kind after chatting with them they have sent me new remote but
I am still in the same situation remote will not work but it will turn on my Revo but thats it once pc on remote does not work.
Also i have a Windows RC6 remote which works.
Can anyone Help
