If the version is older than windows 7 you cant. Hopefully you made the copies of your pre-installed software if you did you can reformat the drive and then use the restore disks. If the restore disks dont format it for you. If you didnt you can purchase new disks from Acer.

My understanding is that Sharma wants to replace his current Windows 7 with XP. Are you saying that it is impossible to install XP on a 5733?

Not impossible nothing is impossible but you have to format the drive first you cant install an older version when a newer version exists.

If you are trying to go from Win8 to Win7 then do a search here as there are plenty of posts covering the process.
If you want to go from Win7 to XP then be aware that your model (afaik) was never sold with XP and consequently there are no XP drivers available. This would likely be a major headache if not a show stopper.

...replace windows 8 by 7 and i get Error When i try to do so . So What should I do???
What error are you receiving? (Did you check for other posts on the subject?)
Windows 7 has compatibility mode but only back to Vista. Your best bet may be to install XP in a virtual machine.
Have a look at VMWare or similar.
