Recently i buy an acer e1 571 laptop with windows 8. unfortunately some thing happened and my full windows store applications are gone.tiles are disappear. Acer erecovery tool also missed.

i used a fresh install of windows 8 with the windows cd comes with laptop. all things become works fine .but erecoveryy tool is missed. i want a factory reset. how can i make it.

is i can use any other acer laptop for making a factory reset.

The erecoveryy tool is missing since you have not installed the factroy shipped windows 8.

Acer does not ship recovery disks with any computer. Instead, the harddrive on the computer has a recovery partition that can be used to execute recovery or to create recovery disks.

So the disc that you had used to clean install windows 8 was not shipped with your computer.

You need to contact Acer store or technical support to get the recovery disc for your computer.

This will restore the operating system, all drivers and application taht was shipped with your computer.

It is likely that you need to purchase some recovery media from Acer.

I can suggest checking with the Acer store, but availability varies by region.
