One day ago, screen message read, browser not respondng, I pressed wait, it popped up again, then powered down with the acer logo froze on screen for about 30 minutes. I then tried a soft boot, no response, hard reset not response. I then tried the volume & power, that is when I received the dreaded dead android robot with a red triangle, left top corner message read something very short, last line I believe booting kernenl image. Within thirty seconds back to frozen acer screen. This morning black screen, the power light button does light comes on and will shut off. My tablet is not rooted , it is used for very basic ops, like reading and searches. I am not covered by any warranty.  I am hoping someone may have a simple suggestion. Thanks

Unfortunately, something very similar happened to my A500 just the other day.  My tablet was freezing and I shut it down.  When I did the hard reboot, the ACER logo appeared but Android did not appear to load.  Have tried the reset button as well.  I also have a standard A500 installation, nothing tweaked.  Would appreciate any suggestions.
