Any help would really be appreciated, I have been useing windows XP for the last eight years and now suddenly with a new laptop I have a new and unfamiliar OS, similarly I have the same flip top mobile phone which is as old as the pc anyway on booting up for the first time I am presented with a screen ful of tiles or apps of which I am completely ignorant. If any one could advise me how to prevent thier appearance I would be grateful, someone suggested a change in the BIOS may work, lastly could that same person explain why there is two program folders and what is the significance of the USERS folder ?
