I have a refurbished s3-392g, and I've been struggling with hangs for a while now. The screen entirely freezes, with any audio "buzzing", and the only solution is a hard reset.
I've tried pretty much every solution under the sun now:
- all drivers are up to date according to the acer driver website
- even with a "diagnostic startup" (basic drivers/services), my laptop still freezes
- I've reset my laptop to factory settings and that still hasn't solved the problem
- there are no exclamation marks in the device manager
- "sfc /scannow" and "chkdsk" both bring up nothing
- laptop does not freeze in safe mode with networking
My laptop hardly ever freezes when I'm plaing video games (although it has once or twice), so I have a feeling that it's something to do with my intel display drivers.
I would really appreciate any help that any of you can give!
