Update failed for VGA driver, using Acer Care Center application.

How do I upgrade the BIOS?  I am attempting to resolve a "black screen" issue.

Thank you for any support.

So did something happen during the VGA driver install and now you can't see any video?

If you power the sytem completely off, do you see the Acer splash screen when you power it on? If not, repair will be your best option. I do not think a BIOS update will resolve the issue.

If you do see something on your screen, can you explain what you are able to see?

VGA driver finally updated using Acer Care Center.

    Updated VGA driver, Solution:
    deleted %temp% directory (aka folder)
Used Microsoft Windows built-in Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr) to remove temporary files and system files (restore points, etc).
    Restarted computer
Updated VGA driver using Acer Care Center
    Restarted computer

The black screen issue has not reoccured. I think it had something do with being in hybernation.
