    Does the motherboard of the Revo Build (M1-601) require DDR3L or is it back compatible with DDR3?

      The Acer memory spec for that model is DDR3L only.  The Intel supported memory spec for the CPU for that model is DDR3L only.  Therefore you should use DDR3L only. Smiley Wink
