ACER Revo M1-601 external USB Drives limitation

I have this device with windows 10 and have a powered USB hub connected to one of the USB ports.  I then have 4 x 2TB external USB Hard drives connected to the USB hub.

All 4 work problem free inside windows 10.

I have an additional 2TB drive to add, so connected it to the USB hub.

The drive itself spins up and sounds like its all working fine, however windows 10 on the REVO will not detect the drive.

If I unplug any one of the other drives, the new drive is detected and works.

Is this a windows 10 limitation or a REVO linitation (I know its not the powered USB hub, and I know the drive itself works without issue)

be aware that your USB hub can have a power limitation, even if has an external power adapter.

    check also drivers letter assignment:

connect all your drivers then press

    windows logo key + x

    Disk management

wait a while and check if all your drivers have a letter assigned if not, try to assign one to the latest.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
