H5370bd and the picture has went dim only in the bottom of the picture

So I turned on my projector to play my Switch and I noticed a burning smell. Then the screen went dim at the bottom middle portion of it. The sides are fine but I was wondering if it was the lamp that went. I figured the entire screen would dim and not just the bottom middle. I have no idea if there was another thing that could have burnt but the picture is there but really dimmed. I should note that this is my first projector and I've had it for roughly 3 years with at least daily use at roughly 3 to 9 hours a day. I really hope that that's the problem but has anyone had something else go wrong other than the bulb that would cause the picture to dim in just one small area?
