Hi,
I own two Dell laptops that I move around in my home, so I've come to have several chargers (e.g. MaxInPower PSMIP505NB) / powerbanks (e.g. ReVolt PX4969-675) available in several rooms so that I don't have to move the original charger around with the laptops.
I've recently bought a Predator 17 G9-793-704H. Given that it uses the exact same connector and voltage as my existing "alternative power sources", I wonder whether I could use them also with the Predator...
(I know that the Dell adapters have the center pin connected to a Dallas UniqueWare™ Add-Only Memory chip via a 1-Wire interface, that the laptop reads to identify the charger, but I couldn't find similar information about the Acer chargers...)
TIA for your help.
