hi,

i also wanted to install win7 on this notebook. all acer-driver worked, just i was missing usb3.0 and ethernet/lan drivers.

after hours of googling for the right ethernet driver for my Aspire V3-772G 54208G87Makk (Model No. VA73) i thought ill share the link to get the correct broadcom drivers:

Passing uefi for Win 7 install is one thing , but getting everything work under already installed Win 7 is different .

After all these drivers worked and everything under Win 7 device manager is clean .

I am running the acer aspire v3-772g-7760.

and I am having a hell of a time finding working drivers for the Win 7 64 bit sp1 install i am doing.

I found the hard way that I need to select Legacy for the inital install. What is the other option and am i missing any function or features....??

Also I was able to eliminate some of the device managers alerted hardware issues. But not all?

Are there any Chipset update I can do that will actually work. I tried the one supplied by acer and just states "Product doesnt meet the system requiements".

Are there any Bios Updates I should run.

I am currently running the Win 7 update manager in hopes it might catch some drivers and update them.....?

Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager.
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Where you see the Yellow exclamation mark, double click it, choose "Details" tab, from the dropdown menu choose "HardwareIDs", click the first string and copy/paste here.

I hope someone whio is out there can help please, I have the ACER V3 772G and decided to remove windows 8 and install windows 7, I manged to change the bios to Legacy and got the OS installed but I cannot find a wifi driver that works.

I am desperate to get my machine operational, could anyone please assist.
