updating bios firmware image not valid

I want updating BIOS for Acer Aspire E1-532 from version 2.10 to 2.11 or 2.13.

Both versions give me error after restarting notebook "firmware image not valid, press any key to reset..."

(complete rebooting after starting bios update was not possible, (only power on/off) ... after installing windows update 8.1)

(i'm trying bios update because shutdown does'nt work after installing windows 8.1

Try this link to version 2.13.

Did your shutdown work properly in Windows 8? You may just need to wait for an update to 8.1.

I will wait for update 8.1.

I restored acer laptop back to windows 8, shutdown is working then.
