I am trying to install windows7 on this laptop, a few people on newegg review have said that they are able to install windows7 on it w/o problems so it should be possible.but whenever I get to the windows starting screen it gets stuck. I don't have any idea what's going on right now. I reverted back to windows 8 (From win8.1) and installed all the latest driver available on acer website. Any other trouble shooting procedure that may fix it would be appreciated.

Was this a factory-installed Win8 or Win8.1 machine?

Does it get stuck at the Win7 installation starting screen or the Win8 or Win8.1 screen?
