As ScottyC said, earlier in this thread - best thing to do is to contact Acer direct and speak to a human.
You will find the phone number on the "Contact Acer" section of the Support page for your region....

If the website says there are no recovery disks available for your serial number, my best suggestion is contacting your local technical support, to inquire about the availability of RCDs.
