I actually have 2 questions/issues, but the main one is the main focus of this post...
I have had this laptop for a few years, and just rarely used it, but am now using it quite a bit more for various reasons and have 2 issues that drive me crazy...
When I am perusing webpages, and it does not matter what site I may be at, as it happens all over the place, is that part of the page will display just fine (fonts, pics, etc), but yet another part and the text/font, etc will be blurry or managled, for example:
The second issue, as is prolly more an issue with Windows 7 (which I hate, as I do with Windows 8, but I digress), is how do I stop the system from automatically opening a page/window if my cursor rests on a link for too long?...I thought this might be related to the "hover" feature, but I have turned this off, but I still experience this behavior...
Any thoughts/hints/clues on how to remedy these annoyances would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks...
Dave

Does the problem only happen when you are on the internet?
Have you tried a different web browser like Chrome or Firefox, to see if the problem is related to the way the browser is rendering pages?
In regards to your second issue, try disabling auto select. You can try the steps at http://www.ehow.com/way_6143067_do-mouse-over-some
If that is not the issue with the autoselecting, you can try disabling the tap to click function, to see if it is an issue with tapping on the touchpad. you can find the setting using http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3
