I own an Aspire 5630 with a battery that exhausts within half an hour.
So I wish to replace it.
The battery is 11.1V - 4000mAh.
When I search for a replacement I see only a 4800mAh on the Dutch Acer site with no futher details on voltage.
A different battery supplier tells me there are 2 different kinds for the 5630 :
an 11V 4400 mAh and a 14.5V - 4800 mAh.
Confusing!
Anyone an idea.?
I would prefer the meximum mAh of course.
Thanks
Theo

Have you checked on the Acer Store?
If not there, the best recommendation would be through your local Acer service center / technical support.

Thank you.
Also on that Acer site I only see the 4800mAh without specifying the voltage.
My concern is that obviously there are 2 voltages possible. 11.1V and 14.8V.
I don't want to toast the laptop.
Anyway, I will check further with a local Acer service centre.

Since it is actually the Acer Store, making sure that it fits and provides the proper voltage shouldn't be an issue.
If it lists the appropriate system as qualified, it is.
