how can I unblock web sites on my used acer laptop?

I have a preowned acer laptop and Linda somehow had some kind of parental control on, that has blocked more than just the usual stuff blocked. how can I undo this?

Ideally you need to identify what parental control is installed on the notebook.

Do you have an administrator account on the computer ?

Try looking in the Control Panel > Add remove programs (or programs and features) see if you can uninstall the program ?

You may find it is best to use the acer recovery management and reinstall the operating system.

It does help if you provide more information, what model laptop, what windows version (win 7 or 8 or vista or xp).

Can you not ask Linda what she did ?
