Has anyone else had a compatibility message for the ePower Management with the most recent Windows 7 update. Acer's response was to send the laptop in...Right.

Yes, I got this problem today - exactly the same. Clicking the "online solutions" button did absolutely nothing.

Same issue with my pair of Aspire S3-951 ultrabooks at the same time.
Win 7 home premium.
Come on Acer, you have a problem brewing.

Acer is aware of the issue that has been reported and has been working with Microsoft on a resolution. The link to the update should be working now, however, you may need to restart your system for the update to install correctly. If you are still having problems, Acer has posted these updates on our site for downloading. You can find a link to download the updates at our support article http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2

I replied to Blayn private message but I wanted to let everyone know this fix works!! Thanks to Blayn and the patch writers.

It works.
Download the update, run it, let it install (can just there doing nothing for a bit).
Then when it says it is finished, reboot. The error goes away.
Seems to all good.
Job well done Acer.
