You do not state what Acer computer you have, which is very helpful information.
What operating system is on the computer?
Have you attempted to change the Power Scheme to turn off WiFi?

I asked about this kind of thing with the AOD270 netbook we have. Unfortunately there isn't an officially supoorted or even a mildly easy registry hack to my knowledge to do this. There maybe a 3rd party program that can be used as a dummy programmable keyboard press, in other words a program that will execute simulated button presses on startup (like Fn+F3), but I haven't seen one.

You want to "modify the file system" ? I'm not understanding specifically what you're wanting to do, other than have the WiFi OFF on boot. What Power Schemes do you see listed? Have you looked at the Advanced settings?

a 3rd part program can be a solution, but unfortunatly no exist.
the most simple solution is to know exavly the key to modify in the file system changing from 0 to 1 the right value

I had the same issue, and have found the solution - no registry editing is required. It seems that if any of your wireless network profile(s) setting was set to "connect automatically when this network is in range", then Launch Manager will automatically and intelligently set the wifi to ON upon start-up. If you disable all your network profiles setting to "manually connect", then upon start-up, your wifi will be set to OFF. To set to "manually connect", go to Open Network and Sharing Center --> click on Manage Wireless Networks --> for all your network profile(s) that has "Automatically Connect" showing, click on it and disable the check box "connect automatically when this network is in range". Upon re-starting your computer, your Launch Manager wifi setting will now be set to OFF.
