just got a v5 -531p lap top. trying to create a factory default backup to usb. went into acer recovery management,, clicked  on create back up, recovery drive window opens, i plug in usb and nothing happens. i checked in the computer file and it shows usb drive there any clues.

went to pc world they said use a 32gb stick and i run microsoft updates then i run create factory backup and it worked ok

Acer recovery says my hard drive is not set to not set to factory configuration. Restore aborted.  How can I boot to the USB on start up ? I can not find the cmos screen on boot up.
