I have aan aspire one netbook that I don't have a backup CD for. It will not reboot. It goes to the screen but won't allow me to make any selections. The other message that I keep getting is NO BOOTABLE DEVICE--PLEASE RESTART SYSTEM. How am I supposed to do this? I don't understand. Any information anyone has to offer would be greatly appreciated. What's the model of your netbook exactly?

What do you mean " It goes to the screen "? Acer screen...

First, you can do this:

1. You restart your netbook
2. When you see the Acer screen, press F2 to enter in the Bios Setup Utility
3. Press F9 Setup Default
4. Press F10 Save and Exit - Reply YES and press Enter
5. Your netbook restart automatically
6. When you see the Acer screen, press F2 to enter again in the Bios Setup Utility
7. Go to Boot tab
8. In Boot Priority Order, you check in first position you have the hard disk drive
9. Press F10 Save and Exit - Reply NO and press Enter
10. Your netbook restart automatically
