Good evening,

I have a Aspire 5552-3691 laptop,  with Windows 7. The Windows Media Center has taken control over my lap top.  It has decided that it wants to be everyone's Icon and opens up all day long everytime I try to go into an application. 

Now... I am on this site, because I have truely tried everything. 

It will not let me do a recovery, or set it back to an earlier time frame...

I can go to Accessories, and Command Prompt but will not let me into Admin. 

It also will not let me turn it off either...  All I would like it to do is stop opening up.    Once I can accomplish this, the next issue is to find out where my Tuner Card went and The Internet TV.  

But one problem at a time..  I am not the greatest with Terms, but I will stick with it to this is fixed...  

Any help or suggestions.. so I don't run it over with my Truck soon, would be greatly appreciated...

If that doesn't work, call Acer and order the recovery disks.
