I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 on my Acer Aspire V5-573G early this year. I've noticed that I'm missing the Crystal Eye software and the proper driver. I have a generic Microsoft driver installed, so the webcam does work when on Skype and so on, however the quality is poor.
I've not found any official Acer drivers for this laptop on the Acer website. Only found drivers and software from third party companies, such as Suyin. I installed them but they don't work. I start the software and get an error that says the webcam is not detected and when I check Device Manager the Microsoft driver is still installed.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem or where I can find official Acer driver and software.
Thanks

Acer computers have an option Reinstall Drivers or Applications, which can be found in the Acer Recovery Management software.
When you select that option you will be presented with Contents/ Manuals. Click Contents and search for the application and/or driver. If you are still unable to find the driver or application, I would recommend purchasing recovery media from technical support in your region.
