Tried windows 8 and it was awful, to I've managed to install windows 7.

Only thing is I can turn the brightness down, use volume control etc. Anyone know how to get these working?

Any ideas anyone? Or does anyone know how I can reinstall windows 8 and make it look and act like Windows 7?

I'm having a nightmare with this laptop, last time I ever buy acer. I managed to install windows 8 again but it didn't pick up the built in key, so I thought I would do a bios update.

Now the laptop doesn't find anything to boot from and I can't get into the bios because it's put a password on it
