Is it possible to change the hdd in my laptop for a faster one, and install a second hdd?
I've been told that 4gig of RAM is the max that can fit in this machine, is tis true?
Sorry for a 3 in 1 but I appreciate any advice. ![]()

Yes it is possible to change the HDD in your laptop for a faster one.
Yes you probably can install a 2nd HDD also but best to take that underside bay off the computer and have a looksee, from what I remember the bay cover itself may make it impossible to fit a 2nd drive as Acer sold 2nd drive bay covers and the standard were plastic moulded in such a way you could not fit a 2nd drive in the bay. I would probably buy a 7mm HDD (rather than the standard 9.5mm) to fit in the 2nd bay and modify the internal part of bay cover to fit it
2 x 2GB RAM sticks is the most this model can take. 4Gig Max.
I think that covers it ! Personally I would buy a 7mm SSD from ebuyer *with 3 year warranty* and have a superspeed laptop!
Have fun and good luck ![]()
