Unable to updte BIOS from 2.7 to 2.11 for Extensa 4630 .After running the exe JALA0211 , system automatically shut down but BIOS will not get upgraded.

Welcome aboard, Dearsonyc. We would need more information, but I'll give you a general answer.

You should not upgrade your BIOS unless something is wrong. The BIOS is not part of the Windows operating system and cannot be corrected with System Restore. If you lock yourself out of your computer, Microsoft will tell you that it is not a Windows problem, and the manufacturer will tell you that you have voided the warranty. Both are telling you the truth.

Possibly, there is hardware or even software in your laptop that cannot function with the new BIOS, and your machine is rejecting the BIOS.

Updates USB kernel code to fix issue System resume from hibernation then stop at windows cursor after installed win7 SP1.
