Hi - Have a 4752 Acer Aspire, Windows 7 - can't get the touchpad scroll to work - I've tried to download the driver, it won't load - keeps giving me error message - when I use the vendor hardware detection,touchpad doesn't show up...

Is it the version of Windows?  Would upgrading to 8 make a difference?

Check in Programs for the type (Synaptics or Elantech), uninstall it, download the driver from Acer Support and install it and see whether it helps.
