I've been getting an annoying random failure of the touch screen on my R7.  I found a KB article, KB2769287, on MS but it seems to apply to WIn8 and not Win8.1.  It will not let me apply the patch.

Anyone else have this issue or a fix?

As mentioned before, if you're still within the warranty period, click support at the top of this page. Click country. Click contact Acer and pre-qualify for phone and chat support.
