Screen turns off when opened up all the way. Help please?!

I have an Acer Travelmate 6292 and the screen turns black when I open it up all hte way. If I go to close it and it is about 6 inches open, the screen comes back on. Im guessing a wire or plug is not working right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would recommend you contact Acer support for your region to inquire about setting your unit up for service. It sounds like the cable connecting the LCD to the mainboard may be failing, causing the display to cut off when the system is opened all the way.
