I'm at my wit's end here. I've searched every value I can find in the Control Panel (under both Display and Power Mgmt), but no matter what those settings are, the screen turns black after 1 minute. It pops right back if I touch a key or the mousepad.

My friend, this is a community for ACER users, and not Asus.

I'm sure if you Google Asus support, you will find the answer you're looking for. Or you could buy a nice new Acer....!!
