I've had the S7-392 for about 1 week now, and it's been fine up until today. I haven't made any changes to the laptop, but it now completely turns itself off at random intervals. The whole laptop turns off. I'm not doing anything particularly heavy with it, and it isn't overheating. It has happened 6 times in the last hour. The only thing that I have changed on the laptop since having it is updating the wireless driver because the one it comes installed with has a terrible reputation and did not work well for me.
Please can somebody help. Would a wireless driver update make a difference? Has this happened to anybody else? It is pretty much unusable whilst it is in this state as all work is instantly lost when it decides to turn itself off.
Thank you
Ben

Hi Ben
Bad drivers can sometimes cause all sorts of problems, but I've not heard of one completly shutting down a PC before!
First thing to try, is to revert back to the original driver, and use it for a day or so, to see if the problem returns. If it does, then it will not be the driver. If the problem continues, especially as your laptop is still new, contact Acer support for your region, to arrange a repair.
Hope this helps!
