Hi, all.
I did a brilliant thing and spilled some liquid into my keyboard. The keys are now pretty well good and sticking.
I have a genuine replacement on order, but this particular model doesn't seem to have the frame held on by screws, but by what seems to be melted plastic nubs. I can only assume that filing/cutting them off spells the end of this frame as far as usability (i.e. trying to repair as close to original spec as possible). This one has a small crack, anyway, so I'd prefer to replace with an OEM part.
I cannot seem to find anyplace that might carry the replacement keyboard frame for this model. I have no idea where I can turn. Any suggestions? Even more so from you Acerians at the "mother ship"?
Thank you all in advance.

Hello,
In which country do you live? (country keyboard)?
Do you want to buy an original keyboard (Acer)?
Junho
I live in the United States, and I already have a new OEM keyboard on the way.
What suggestions might you have?
Thank you!

The frame does have a sticker on it bearing the following information:
PN 13NO-VNP0402 REV. 1B
PB71305-1A TOP CASE KB FRAME
DATE: 02/27/2014 A
I don't understand why this is so hard to find.

In the original part, the frame is sold only with the keyboard.
For example:
60.MG8N5.004 - KEYBOARD US-INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH 103K WIN8 W/FRAME (with frame)
Could you post a picture of your frame?

Is this the part number for this particular model? I can't find any images thus far.
Thank you for your help so far!

It's the part number for Aspire E1-731.

This is the keyboard. It's a "steel gray" plastic frame.
Thanks!
