I just received a recovery disc set for my Aspire One D257. I provided the SNID when I placed the order. When the recovery gets to "Please insert Recover Disc 1..." it kicks the disc our and says "Please insert the correct image disc and try again." Yes, I've checked and I'm using Disc 1 of 2. Did I get the wrong disc set? Did I get a bad disc? What do I do?

If you're sure you've inserted the disks in the correct order (Did the disk come with additional instructions?), then the disks are either the wrong ones or faulty.
Contact Acer - just like you did when you bought the disks, and explain the problem. They will send out new disks if the ones you have are deemed faulty.
