Got from someone really cheap(just testing for now) an mSata SSD 32GB and wanted to use in this laptop(didnt find a packard bel forum) but neither the bios nor the windows can see this drive. The bios has the latest version for lm94 and the motherboard has 2 wifi like ports. One to the left side of the rams which holds a mini pci-e wifi and to the right of the rams an empty wifi slot were an msata can fit. However I cant make this to work. I was sure the second wifi slot for mSata ssd drives since this laptop was manufactured 2009+.

If the SSD is not being detected, that slot may not be active by design. This may be the case because some of motherboards are used in different models and configurations. Notebooks are not meant to always be expaned on as we usually only support upgrades to the RAM.
