I had created a partition on my HDD and installed Windows 7 in it. It was working fine from long time, so I thought I will remove the original Windows Vista that came with the computer to get some free space, when I tried deleting / formating the C drive where Windows Vista was, it didn't allowed me saying - 'Windows cannot delete system partition', so I was trying various option to change system/primary partition and while doing that I also set the C drive as inactive, however that didn't work either.

I left that as it is and I shutdown my computer, this morning when I am starting it again it is showing me PXE-M0F Exiting Intel PXE ROM. Operating System not found.

I tired F2 to go in BIOS, but its not doing anything. It doesn't allow me to go in BIOS at all. And I thought I will recover windows but its not identifying the recovery disk as well that I had created when I bought this computer. (Recovery disk does work as I had tried that couple of times in past)

Don't know if this is all happened due to setting partition 0 to inactive yesterday or any other thing that I had tried yesterday.

I am in dilemma... what should I do.. Any suggestion help... plzzz

Can you provide me the model of notebook you are refering too? This may help with getting into the bios. As far as your dilema, you may have to "write zero" your hard drive then create a new partition from scratch. Then after you have done this try using your recovery media to install the operating system.
