Got this laptop 2 days ago and it started overheating from day 1.  Anytime I do anything that requires some graphics of some sort, it shuts down.  I have yet to hear the fan run at all.  Bought a laptop cooler but it doesn't seem to help.

Tech support had me reset BIOS and install new drivers for both the onboard and dedicated graphics.  Logged into a game and overheated within a minute.  Graphics look great and FPS are nice while it's on.

Anyone else have a similar problem?  What is the fix?  Send it in for repair or have it fixed locally?  Thanks for the input.

It seems like a manufacturing fault, I would return for a refund or a replacement from the retailer.
