Greetings to all,

I have a Aspire 8920G (bought it new in 2008), running Windows 7 64bit, 4Gb of Ram ..... I have recently replaced the Motherboard and the old Graphics card (nvidia geforce 9500m gs) for the Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT.

I have a little start up issue I hope someone can help me with ........

When I Boot up, I get nothing on screen until the Windows 'welcome' screen then it's as it should be

BUT, if I boot up while I have the laptop connected to my TV via HDMI i see everything, the Bios starting, Acer Logo Screen, and the 'Starting Windows' animation.

But I don't want to keep having to connect it to my TV to get in to the Bios.

Any Ideas/Suggestion to solve this would make me a happy bunny lol
