When I try to start my Aspire V3 nothing happens, but the light in the "start" gets on.

1) Do you have surge protection? Could be board issues.

2) Happens on "battery only" and plugged in as well?

The blue light switch is on the entry part of the board and may retain it's ability to shine, even if an electric source or lightning surge damage has passed further through to the board circuitry.
