I have an acer aspire 5742 laptop doesnt boot. Instead it keeps restartng with nothing on screen

My laptop doesnt boot. when i turn it on, blue lights r shown for power and hard disk. but nothing on the screen. and it restarts by itself. please help me

Model: acer aspire 5742

OS: windows 7

Processor: intel p6100

ram: 3gb

Try to boot on BIOS pressing F2 at boot.
If screen is still black....no luck, you must contact Acer service support.
