How to power-up laptop from an external keyboard.

I want to use my Acer TravelMate 5320 just like a tower PC. I have successfully connected it with an external monitor, mouse and keyboard. How do I power-up my laptop using just the external keyboard?

With the external KB plugged in, go to control panel and search 'keyboard'. Select options that seem to most closely relate to what you're trying to do.

You need an option on BIOS, something like Wake up on keypress or USB input.

not sure if it's available on your laptop.
