After having a hard drive crash, I recently upgraded to an SSD and now need to do a clean reinstall on my AO-522 netbook. It might be obvious to state, but it has no CD drive.
I purchased the eRecovery CD's, and need instructions on how to make a bootable ISO out of the 5 CD's that were included (Recovery discs 1 & 2, System disc, and 2 copies of the Language Disc).
Since my HDD crashed, I do not have a recovery sector or the ability to use the eRecovery tool via the boot menu.
I recognize this is a rookie move, but in trying to make bootable ISO's using BurnAware Free and the Windows 7 USB DVD download tool, the Win7 tool would not let me take the BurnAware ISO's and install them on my USB drive.
The drive is 8GB in size.
Any advice on how to use the CD's in making a USB recovery stick is appreciated.

The MS download tool will only work for the official generic Win7 iso from the digital river website, not the Acer Win7 version with all of its Acer-specific add ons. If you still want to use your Acer Win7 iso, you may want to try the Rufus open source USB download tool to convert it to a bootable USB http://searchenterprisedesktop.techtarget.com/tip/

I ended up buying an external CD-ROM drive for $30 and getting my system up & running by traditional means.
