I am a Technician in a Secondary School and one of the teachers has enabled the Fingerprint reader! The laptop is to be transferred to another teacher and hence the Biometric needs to be disabled. Anyone any ideas on how this is achieved.

What computer model?
The simple solution would be to have the previous user log in with their fingerprint and remove the user.
Complex solution:
It is really going to depend on what the fingerprint is blocking.
If it is fully engaged and blocking BIOS access, then we're not going to be able to help over the Community.
You would need to contact your local Acer technical support so that we could bring it in for service to remove and reset the system.
This falls under the 'passwords' category of security.
