I have tried searching both on my laptop and online but I cannot find out how to adjust the built-in webcam settings. My webcam/camera was excellent for a while, but suddenly both pics and video quality is really bad. I have no idea how this happened and I cannot figure out where to adjust the settings. Can anybody help? The User manual is useless on the topic :-/

Have you tried to right click the crystal eye icon and then selected it's properties and set it to default?

If you're like me, and are a tiny-bit paranoid the Gov, Goole Chrom, and China are watching from an %appdata% file, you might have "accidently" gooey-taped your cam lense hole....or just a little crumb from a pizza...find a little eyeglass cleaner and lense paper to work in the hole.

Careful not to drowned the rest of the unit.

Heh-heh. My own lens somehow got covered with tape too. Not only that, my cam software somehow got uninstalled. In fact, I don't think the cam hardware has ever been checked. I might have to do that someday. 8^)
