There is a utility called clnpwd.exe mentioned on page 74 of the service pdf for this laptop but i can't find anywhere to download it.

background:

i visit a retired person who lives alone. his laptop is his key to speak to his family overseas. i can't send his laptop to acer directly as that will cost (the retired man can not afford it)

he purchased the laptop 2nd hand from somewhere and it came with a win8 install which he does not like. he has a retail win xp cd which is what he wants (he is 83 and set in his ways)

can anyone get me this util so i can reset his BIOS password for him so he can install XP on it?
