this is the latest version (2.28):

unzip it and on windows double click VAGV228.exe , follow on screen instructions.

Few years ago I have bad flashed BIOS PC in Windows because of antivirus which shut off the power during flash. Is it now safe to flash with antivirus enabled? I will for sure disable antivirus protection. Acer should release flashing instructions along BIOS images. Nobody wants another bricked piece of electronics.

The latest windows BIOS doesn't flash it under windows enviroment, it unpacks and prepares the files to be flashed after a reboot outside windows OS.
