Aspire AO756. I set a hdd password in Bios. It works fine. Now I want to change it, but in Bios the hdd password option is greyed out and has the word "frozen" next to it. So how do I change the password if I know what the current one is?

You should have the following on the Security screen:
Supervisor Password Is: Clear
User Password Is: Clear
HDD Password Is: Set
Set Supervisor Password [Enter]
Set User Password [Enter]
Set HDD Password [Enter]
You are saying that the HDD Password does not say "Set", but "Frozen". Is that correct?
What version of BIOS do you have?

What does it show in the BIOS, as I listed above?

Nope. Everything is greyed out except Supervisor Password which is in white and available to be set. The rest of the items are greyed and don't respond, and after the HDD Password item it doesn't say "set", it says "frozen. Again, I set the HDD password when I got the machine and I use it and it works fine. I just want to change it.
