Hello
After updating to windows 8.1 a while back, my audio function keys no longer work. All others work fine. Uninstalling the keyboard drivers and letting windows reinstall them after a reboot is not an option, for I would not be able to log in when my laptop starts up.
I own an Acer Aspire V3-771G, current OS is windows 8.1
Any help is appreciated.

Hello Mulford,
Looks like your Launch Manager is not installed yet or already installed but in wrong version.
Are you running on Windows 8.1 64-bit?
If it so, you have to re-install Launch Manager driver from this official site: http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/download.htm
Enter your area, and enter your product model. And when you are on your laptop's drivers list page, switch the tab to "Application" and there you will see downloadabe Launch Manager driver. Download and install it and you will have your Function Keys work again as well.
Hope it works.

Yes, I am running windows 8.1 64-bit, unfortunately reinstalling Launch Manager did not solve my problem. They still won't work.

Hello Mulford,
After installing Launch Manager, did you see "LMworker.exe" running on the Task Manager?
(You can open Task Manager by right clicking on the taskbar and click on "Task Manager")
If it isn't there, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Launch Manager and double click "LMWorker".

Launch manager isn't in the task manager, but neither is LMworker.exe in the program files folder.

Hello Mulford,
Have you re-installed again Launch Manager and tried running LMworker in the program files folder?
Istall and run LMworker using administrator privileges.
