Hi everyone,

i am a proud owner/user of an aspire timelinex 5830tg.

I would like to fit a blu ray drive instead of the stock dvd-burner, and i was wondering if there are compatibility issues with third-party products; i'm not bothered with the looks (maybe different bezel) but just with the functionality: would it actually fit inside the tray and connect to the mainboard?

The 5830tg shouldn't have any problems with a Blueray.
